I quite like the yellow tones that the street light cast over this image.
Any time of night you can wander down to the high st and there will always be activity.

Through the view finder.
This shot was taken by holding my digital slr against my old 'kodak duaflex' and taking a pic through the view finder. Gives it that grainy old world look.

Bits and Pieces
Bits and pieces from a day in the life
A trip to the park
A bike ride
And a simple door on a trip to the city

(I took 2 cameras that day 1 loaded with B/W film the other colour film)

Portraits ( Harder than you may think)
It all started with a simple request " get a photo of the three kids while they're in a good mood"
No...
No again...
It was a little harder with Mr F the little energizer bunny he is, So i told him to jump and tried to catch him in the air.
No...
No again...
Pure gold.
The motion captures Mr F's personality Perfectly!
Just a small pity the flash died on this shot because its my favorite.

And Ending with a Fizzle (Almost)
I been such a terrible host!
One whole month without a post.
I missed one post, then I guess life just got in the way.
Those who don't know me as Mr Finki (no one i think) should know that it is currently market season and adding to that a full time job, 2 kids, a part time job at Finki, it all leaves me often falling asleep before 2 year old mister F.
Long story short, I was in Borders the other night and started to look at the photography books and magazines and it made me realize that I wasn't being fair to my self or followers.
Its not like i haven't been taking photos in my absence, I just never posted any.
Well to make up for it I'm going to post as many shots as i can for the next month.
The magazine I bought focused on macro photography so i dusted off the Close up filters I have and took these Gems.
While not macro... still not bad for filters that are second hand and came with my 1960s Pentax therefore probably at least 30ish to 50ish years old.
